HESI's Executive Director, Dr. Syril Pettit will be speaking at the STEM Career Exploration Seminar on 17 February 2022 @11am EST. The Seminar is hosted by Career Mobility Committee whose mission is to educate STEM PhD candidates & post-docs on the variety of career possibilities outside academia & help hone the skills necessary for success.
Dr. Syril Pettit is the Executive Director of the international nonprofit, HESI (Health and Environmental Sciences Institute). This organization’s mission is to identify and resolve global health and environmental challenges as a collaborative effort between academic, government, industry, and NGOs scientists. She received her DrPH from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and her specialties include public health, patient quality-of-life issues, collaborative science, and nonprofit leadership.
