Modules taught by Dr. Michelle Embry (HESI) related to the Risk Assessment in the 21st Century (RISK21) Framework and included a hands-on interactive case studies based on real-world issues that were developed by the RISK21 team. There were sixty course participants from government and academic institutions hailing from sixteen different countries: Bhutan, Cambodia, Ghana, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, and Vietnam.
