HESI is committed to creating new opportunities for involvement of the public sector in its scientific programs and furthering the organization’s ability to contribute positively to the development and success of scientists from academia. The Chemical Environmental Toxicology (CET) Program, the joint program between the University of Ottawa and Carleton University (uOttawa-Carleton), seeks to increase the impact of their research programs on regulatory science policy and practice through better interface and collaboration across sectors and disciplines. This workshop served as an opportunity for CET and other researchers in Ottawa to learn about HESI, find out how to participate in HESI programs, and discuss mutually beneficial paths forward. Please see the full workshop slides here.
