The HESI Emerging Systems Toxicology for Assessment of Risk (eSTAR) Committee Annual Meeting will take place virtually November 13 and 14. On November 13, we will review our exciting portfolio of six omics based projects (OASIS, Error Corrected Sequencing, Carcinogenomics, tPOD, miRNA, and Tgx-DDDI), along with updates of other activities related to systems toxicology like a cross-platform project on microphysiological systems (MPS).
We are very excited to have Dr. Michael Roberts as our keynote speaker. Dr. Roberts is the chief scientific officer of the International Space Station (ISS) National Laboratory, managed by the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space, Inc. (CASIS) in partnership with NASA. His talk is titled “Research and Innovation from Low Earth Orbit”.
November 14 is reserved for working groups to meet in break-out sessions. Scheduled to be finalized by 18 October.
